My pilot won't stay lit. Is it the thermocouple?
Often, yes, but a dirty pilot or a failing gas valve can cause it too. We test before replacing anything.
Should I replace the anode rod?
If the tank is fairly new and the water smells or looks rusty, a new anode rod can extend its life. On an old tank, replacement is usually smarter.
Do you repair Navien and Rinnai tankless units?
Yes. We fix error codes, flow sensors, igniters, fans and boards, and descale units to keep them efficient.
Is it worth fixing an old water heater?
Tanks usually last 8 to 12 years. If yours is near that age and needs a gas valve or is leaking, replacement is better value. We quote both.
Do you work on electric water heaters?
No. We specialise in gas tank and gas tankless water heaters.
